July Beta :)

The next Guild Wars 2 beta will be held during July 20-22, 2012. ArenaNet mentioned the this will be the last open beta, so the after this beta the next time we play it will be officially released!! :D

This open beta is just a little more special than the last two. Do you know why?? I bet you can't guess! Well, maybe some of you can... All five races will be playable this time! Meaning we can finally create our own ingenious asura, or a beautiful slyvari. I think I'll make one of them during the beta so I can post more stuff about them afterwards. If you want to learn more, you can click on this link: http://www.arena.net/blog/play-asura-and-sylvari-in-the-july-20-22-beta-weekend-event

BUT! To anyone who has pre-purchased the game will get a wonderful 3 day headstart access! Which is absolutely amazing.

Feedback from beta weekend! :D

Last weekend's beta event was spectacular! Although, I did recieve some major lag. It must just be because they haven't modified it for a laptop, I don't know. :/ I noticed a few changes here and there, but nothing too major. Most of them were changes in the animation of skills, like illusionary wave was different (don't know how many of you noticed that). The old skill was a bit more vibrant and looked the part, but I'm O.K. with this new animation.

And I've got some pictures to share! :) The first few ones are of one of the first quests in Queensdale. I must say that the game is absolutely beautiful, and I like how there isn't any more of those quests where you just kill a certain number of mobs. Those are so boring!

This first one is just me watering some corn for Farmer Diah. Such nice lady! :3

Now, this is the difference bewteen something cute.............and something that's CREEPY.

The last few ones are of some pvp action! Well, not really action, but just some moments. lol

The pvp servers were very busy since the start of the beta, so it was a little hard to find a game you could join. :/

There were funny moments, and just some moments where I just felt like taking a pictures of that certain moment. Left: A team full of mesmers, including myself ;) Right: My team earned an Orb of Power. Which sounds amazing :D

When you run out of health you go into a "downed" state, and one of the four skills a mesmer gets while downed creates a phantasm. And when I go downed, I'm pretty much gonna die. So I immediatly use that skill, it's like I have some kind of avenger from beyond LOL :)

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, since there will only be more to come! And I also hope that everyone who attended the beta had truck loads of fun, I know I did! I'll see ya next time!

Beta Weekend Event 2!!

As I'm sure most of you guys who look at the Guild Wars 2 homepage daily will know, the second beta weekend event has been announced! The beta will be running from June 8th- June 10th, and I'm going to be expecting a monumental amount of people to be playing. You can see all the details here at http://www.arena.net/blog/announcing-the-next-guild-wars-2-beta-weekend .

The last beta was highly successful, so hopefully this beta will nothing the less! As you can expect, I'll be playing a mesmer. I don't think you're going to see me much in pve, but I'll still quest a little bit. Pvp is my main focus for this beta, it unlocks all of the utility skills and trait points. I'm going to use this to my advantange so I can see exactly what I'm going to specialize in at the time of the official release.

There are many aspects about the mesmer that I think are both lovable, and unique. I'm thinking about using clones to confuse my opponents and be hidden among my handmade crowd. I do this by using a combination of blink (a teleport skill) and decoy (a skill that creates a clone and stealths you). This will hopefully be able to give me an edge on the battlefield. And I hope this will help any other people planning to adventure through Tyria as a mesmer!

                    See you soon! :)
